Fixed Price Listings

Fragrance Resale brings the excitement of a bustling fragrance marketplace online, with sellers listing new, pre-owned, vintage, designer, and niche perfumes, colognes, and beauty products. Here’s how buying works:

1. Create a Free Account

You’ll need a Fragrance Resale account to buy or sell.  Registration is 100% free, requires basic information, and includes e-mail verification to keep the Marketplace safe and trusted.

2. Do Your Due Diligence

All listings on Fragrance Resale come directly from individual sellers, so details like condition, descriptions, photos, and shipping options may vary. Buyers are encouraged to review each listing carefully, compare information, and ask questions before purchasing to ensure a smooth, confident, and informed shopping experience.
 

3. Review Images & Descriptions

Take time to closely examine all photos and the full description. If anything is unclear, contact the seller before buying or making an offer. Helpful questions may include:

• Do the photos accurately represent the item?

• Are the images of the exact item being sold?

• Is there wear, damage, or a detail not fully visible?

Use the Questions & Answers section on the listing to communicate directly with the seller.

4. Shipping & Delivery

Understanding shipping details helps ensure your item arrives safely and on time. Consider asking:

• What shipping method will be used and the estimated delivery timeframe?

• How will the item be packaged to prevent damage?

• Is shipping insurance included?

Some sellers may also offer safe local pickup, when available.

5. Payment Options

Fragrance Resale supports direct PayPal and Stripe payments within our Marketplace for strong buyer and seller protection.  Sellers may also list additional off-marketplace payment methods they accept within their listing.

6. Buying on Fragrance Resale is Simple and Secure

Fixed-Price Listings – Click Buy Now to purchase instantly and complete your order.

Make Offer – Some fixed-price listings include a Make Offer option. All offers are binding, so only submit an offer if you’re ready to complete the purchase if it’s accepted.

A small Marketplace fee is applied at checkout for Buy Now purchases or accepted offers. Once the fee is paid, the order moves to the seller for payment and shipping coordination.

Marketplace Fee Refunds – The Marketplace fee is refundable only if the seller does not fulfill the order — for example, if the item is not shipped, lost in transit, or not delivered as described, and the issue cannot be resolved. Please contact Marketplace support for assistance.

7. Finalizing the Sale

Once the Marketplace fee is paid, you’ll be connected directly with the seller. Both buyers and sellers receive each other’s contact information to coordinate final payment, shipping, or local pickup.

The full purchase price is paid directly to the seller using the payment method(s) they have listed. Buyers are expected to complete payment within 24 hours of purchase.
